Woman arrested after "test drive"

RICHFIELD SPRINGS – On September 15, New York State Police at Richfield Springs arrested Theresa A. Price, age 48 of Utica, NY for the class “D” felony of Grand Larceny in the third degree.

On September 14, Troopers were advised that a woman took a used vehicle for a test drive from a car dealership, told them she’d like the vehicle checked out by her mechanic up the road but never returned.

An investigation revealed that on September 15, the vehicle was traveling on Interstate 90.  Price and the vehicle were located at a truck stop in the town of Pembroke.  She was arrested and transported back to Richfield Springs and processed.

Price was then turned over to the Otsego County Jail for Centralized Arraignment.
